Campren - Story 1, Chapter 3     Geoffrey stormed down the steps of Tel Mache with furious speed while Campren struggled to keep up.
     "Wait up!" Campren hollered, "I don't know the way out!"
     "We have to hurry; Gentry wouldn't say how long we have until the poison takes effect."
     "But what about my jacket's function?"
     "I highly doubt that it will protect you from something that takes you out from the inside. However, if you'd like, you can wait here and find out."

Campren - Story 1, Chapter 2     As Campren regained consciousness, he made four realizations in quick succession: firstly, that the bed that he was lying on was far too comfortable to be his own. Secondly, as he opened his eyes, he found that he was not on a bed at all, but rather a patch of abnormally thick and fluffy grass. Thirdly, he was still underground, but grass, flowers, bushes, and trees were growing from the cave floor, aided by small rays of sunlight that peeked through a few openings in the top of the cave. Finally, he heard the faint sound of a violin in the distance.
     "What happened?" Campren scream
Campren - Story 1, Chapter 1     "Please hear me out!" the old gentleman yelled to the increasingly violent crowd. "I know that with every passing day, our numbers have grown smaller. But I tell you, put your fears to rest! Our time of salvation is at hand. I have found the One! The one who has come to our world to slay this terrible beast that has been plaguing us. Reality is a well-oiled machine, and Mr. Leroux is its mechanic. He is greatly dismayed when a strange young man stumbles in and breaks the finely-tuned mechanical marvel that he's spent his whole life maintaining.

He lost his hearing, eyesight, and 37% of his face in a freak explosion several years ago. In addition to hiding his deformities, the mask connects to his brain and allows him to see and hear.

(Completely Fictional is a web comic that I hope to launch sometime within the next decade.)
