what's that thing on the 'Before' versions head?
It's really interesting to hear that you like the first one better, though! I'm definitely open to suggestions, and now's the perfect time for experimentation since he's not submitted yet.
Oh, and the thing on his head is a fat little bird. It was an important part of his character arch in the OCT, but I think I'm going to have to approach Campren's character development differently in VOID. 5-10 page comics don't really lend themselves well to convoluted plot stuff.
