Dahnnae, Bech, and Campren leave to go to the library, but quickly change direction when Campren realizes that Caroline is in danger. Along the way, they're stopped by a large group of Scarecrows, which Dahnnae disposes of using an explosion. They find Caroline hiding in the dance studio. The four are soon surrounded by Scarecrows (who came to investigate the explosion), but they escape by driving Caroline's car through the undead mob.

Caroline - Story 3, Chapter 2 In his dream that night, Campren found himself walking down the aisle of the Surrell Street Baptist Church yet again. The wedding guests were all loved ones of his that had passed away, and the priest was the man who had stolen the love of his life from him. Campren had experienced this same dream many, many times the past, but something was different this time: the woman at the altar wasn't Caroline. To Campren's immense shock, he saw that she was much taller and had jet black hair. Her lacey wedding veil obscured her face, but it was still quite obvious that this woman was not his betrothed.
