Mr. MacDouglas Lost His MindWith salad in hand and a fork in his hair
Mr. MacDouglas sped down the street.
He used neither a bike nor an automobile,
But two Dobermans tied to his feet.
"My steak is dissenting! My lobster doth sing!"
MacDouglas declared with resounding zeal.
"The end of us all shall soon come to pass,
And what's worse, I can't finish my meal!"
He called out in panic and pleaded for help,
But his neighbors kept sweeping their floors.
They'd heard Angus McDouglas was back in their town
So they'd boarded up all of their doors.
Angus soon saw that his calls were not heard
And he sighed with great grief and dismay
"My cries were not heeded, and now all is lost;
I will now have to work today!"
With a wink and a scream, he made his dogs stop
and leapt off their backs with great ease
He gave both the pooches a pat on the head,
As well as a kick and some cheese.
He went straight to work, and did not stay idle
He toiled vigorously for Mrs. Derjoo

Her CatalystAs she walks through the maelstrom, the words trace upon the tips of her fingers and press into the stone. Every brick, every crack in the concrete, every crossed and angular stroke in reds and blacks and oranges. The drips of the gasoline pool around the base of her boots, slosh as she steps over the burst pipes and the rubble.
So much rubble. So little outcry. The silence of the city grates on her eardrums and the mantras she'd been forced to memorize. The Seers demanded they observe thirteen years of recitation before they attempt to weave their first World together.
But who other than the Seers can claim the incantations that knot the skeins they twist and pull on like reins hold fast? When have any of the Sisters recorded the visions they traced upon space-time and recited them, left them open for critique and discussion and debate?
